Céleste serves modern, imaginative, French-inspired cuisine using only the finest organic British produce. Chef Patron at The Lanesborough, Eric Frechon – Paris’ most esteemed three Michelin-starred chef – has brought his protégé, Florian Favario, to London to lead the hotel into a new culinary era.
The setting is just as delectable. The Lanesborough’s famous Venetian-style dining room – a London landmark in itself – is naturally illuminated during breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea by a domed glass roof and in the evening by spectacular hanging chandeliers. Refreshed interiors by Alberto Pinto, featuring bas-relief friezes and fluted columns, emphasise the room’s original Regency grandeur. With the sky framed in its glass roof and sublime French cuisine framed in the dishes it serves, Céleste takes its name from a fittingly Gallic word for ‘heavenly’.
