An award-winning restaurant (Egon Ronay, the Good Food Guide and The Curry Club), Bhatti is a star of an Indian restaurant.
Serving high-quality favourites for over twenty years now, it occupies the same stately 17th century listed building as ever. Luckily the interior has been up-dated since then, and it's now pleasantly bright and cheerful inside. Spotlights highlight light blonde wood furnishings, and paintings adorn the fresh coloured walls. And the good news is that space is not squeezed here at all - Bhatti's two airy floors can easily seat a hundred or so diners.
The familiar-looking menu is jam-packed with all those dishes we know and expect. Check out the so so solid chicken tikka masala, jalfreizi, vindaloo, madras, and lamb rogan ghosh. They're not only tasty - they're good value too. Where else can you happily quaff a bottle of house wine for under a tenner in WC2? We ask you!.
