Bankside EC2 - great value city style - a la carte dining

A bank in the city is not an unusual place, somehow, this Bankside will stand out a lot more than the traditional ones. The new EC2 location of Bankside is a welcome addition to the buzzing and busy Liverpool St. and it is due to be a hit just like its South bank sister.

With a very reasonably priced menu, difficult to rival in this city location, and a modern take on the classic British cuisine, this is undoubtedly one to try out in 2005. Whether it is bacon ciabattas or smoked salmon that you are after, you can find it right here, and at a price that will most certainly not break the bank. Wine prices are also a welcome treat.

What else can we say, it is got to be tried to be believed.

I've been to Bankside on several occasions, and I've always had a great time. The staff are friendly, welcoming and efficient, the food is great, and the best part is the price - superb value for money every time. I wouldn't say the emphasis at Bankside is upon over-the-top luxury - its more honest than this and this is probably the secret to its success. Its been a top-seller of ours for a long time, precisely because it forgoes extravagance and focuses purely on price, quality and enjoyment.
