It's always worth checking out a new hotel restaurant, especially if it's not the usual stiff and stuffy offering that you usually find in the city.

Bonds has a new chef Barry Tonks. He has been cooking in some of London's finest kitchens for ten years. He began his career in the capital at The Dorchester hotel and then went on to work at two Michelin Star restaurants - Chapter One and Putney Bridge. He then became Senior Sous Chef at The Landmark under John Burton-Race where his restaurant had earned two Michelin Stars. His first Head Chef position was at McClements in Twickenham where he quickly made a big impression, earning his first Michelin Star, three AA Rosettas, and a seven out of ten in The Good Food Guide, putting them in the top 25 rated restaurants in the UK. Now, Barry is set to make The City a dining destination of its own right with Modern French cooking that is nothing short of perfection.

His menu is Modern French Cuisine. Combining classic sophistication with city chic, Bonds is a fresh alternative to City Dining. Quality is the focus in the kitchen, where every ingredient is sourced through exhaustive research from our local suppliers. Offering a unique fresh approach to Modern French Cuisine, this beautifully appointed Restaurant and Bar has cleverly fused together the 19th and 21st century, offering a warm, relaxing yet exciting environment.

  • Smoked salmon - layered terrine of smoked salmon and trout with horseradish beetroot chutney
  • Foie gras - duck liver and foie gras parfait with quince puree, caramelised brioche cream

  • Waffle Tonka - bean parfait with a white chocolate emulsion, passion fruit syrup and sugar puffs
