Restaurant: Bertorelli Covent Garden
Offer: Bertorelli's Covent Garden - space and grace on the Piazza, a la carte dining
Steeped in the history of performing culture, Bertorelli's is a long-time favourite among the folk who attend Covent Garden's Opera House opposite. But you don't need an ear for music to love the place - just a discerning appetite and an appreciation for good Italian cuisine.
Perfect for pre or post-curtain parties, as well as sophisticated gatherings, you'll warm to the great service and relaxed surroundings. The dining room itself is richly and elegantly dressed - no less the diva than the beauties in the Piazza. And the food is both classic and modern in a blend of Italian creativity. Enjoy several acts of high-class turns - there's beef carpaccio with parmigiano reggiano crisp; smoked salmon ravioli; marinated chicken breast and mozzarella risotto cake to bring you to your feet with applause.
We'd stay here till the fat lady sings personally...

| One of Covent Garden's most established and popular restaurants, this is located at the side of the Royal Opera House, and is a great place for pre or post theatre dining. Its well-deserved reputation is for fine Italian food. Service was very good when we went there, the house wines were enjoyable, and the food was all we'd hoped for: the roast chicken breast seasoned with herbs and butter with celeriac mash, and the lamb, as main courses, were perfectly cooked. Starters were a winter warmer soup and a selection of Italian salami. There's a great range of deserts and you'll want to linger over a cappuccino and brandy - and possible a second desert!". |
