Additional Information

Mela Restaurant, London - Oh so refined Indian cooking - a la carte dining

If you like curries but aren't hot on flock wallpaper and red swirly carpet, then you'll love Mela.

A refined English take on Indian country cooking, it serves fresh and imaginative dishes in a stylish designer setting.

This little jewel is tucked away at the heart of the West End, making it ideal for pre- or post-theatre nosh. It's also popular at lunchtime, whether with working businessmen or shoppers having a well-earned break. Everyone is tucking into the delicious fish and seafood curries, and fat naan breads.

Given the more-than-reasonable menu prices, it can only be a matter of time before word gets round about this real find. We even know some loyal regulars who are hoping for their favourites to be sold frozen as home supplies - not just takeaways...
