Restaurant: Paternoster Chop House
Offer: Paternoster Chop House Restaurant, London - a la carte dining
Paternoster Chop House is located behind St. Paul's Cathedral on a newly developed Paternoster Square. This square was famously known in the 1800s for being the main entrance to the city of London and where anyone could find the best Ale and Chop houses.
Head Chef Peter Weedens cooking is resolutely British, often using overlooked ingredients. He enjoys cooking simple, rustic food that concentrates on the quality of produce and is conspicuously seasonal. Following a less is more approach; he likes to pay careful attention to the pairings of flavours on the plate.
To preserve the integrity of ingredients, Peter likes to get back to basics. He bakes his own bread daily on site; air dries his own ham and purchases meat on the bone which he butchers in-house, so that customers can choose from a range of different cuts.
